Can't Say No - conor Maynard
Wasn't looking for trouble, but it came looking for me
I tried to say no but I can't fight it, she was looking lovely
She kinda reminds me of a girl I know
This pretty young thing that I got waiting for me back at home
PRE-CHORUS
She's got my engines turning, this happens every time
I see a pretty girl and I wanna make her mine
They send my rocket to the sky, I want them
Should I go for them?
I'm like "Houston, I think we got a problem"
CHORUS
Girls, girls, girls I just can't say no
Never see them coming I just watch them go
Girls, girls, girls I just can't say no
Never see them coming I just watch them go
Take control, making me sweat girl run that show, It's them
Girls, girls, girls I just can't say no
Houston, I think we got a problem
Some girls are naughty, some girls are sweet
One thing they got in common, they all got a hold on me
Meet them at the party, meet them in the street
Getting me in so much trouble, but that's alright with me
PRE-CHORUS
CHORUS
Looking like a model, making me stare
All them pretty girls just standing right there
Doing that thing is just not fair
How come all the pretty girls are up in here
Looking like a model, making me stare
All them pretty girls just standing right there
Doing that thing is just not fair
How come all the pretty girls are up in here
CHORUS
Wasn't looking for trouble, but it came looking for me
I tried to say no but I can't fight it, she was looking lovely

Meaning, Main Idea, and Message of The Song
Based on the complete lyric of the song above, it seems to me that the song tells us about a boy whose heart easily falls to different girls. In other words, the song describes a playboy's feeling. So, how is his feeling?
As you all must know, there is a kind of man or boy who never feels satisfied with everything he has, including a romantic partner. Such a kind of boy will always hunt for girls. Everytime he finds or meet beautiful girls, he feels alive. The girls 'got my engine turning," the song says. "And I wanna make her mine" continues the line. Of course, this is wrong. And he knows that this can bring him troubles. But, he has an excuse that he "wasn't looking for trouble, but it came looking for" him. In other words, he wants to say that he does not deliberately fall for the girls. He "tried to say no" but he "can't fight" the feeling.
Another verse of the song shows how experienced the boy with different girls. And it is this experience which makes him able to state that "some girls are naughty, some girls are sweet." Moreover, his adventurous love is proven with the fact that he "meet them at the party, meet them in the street." Finally, he realizes that it could get him in so much trouble, but as a real playboy he continues doing the adventure and says "that's alright with me".
Well, that's my interpretation of Conor Maynard's Can't Say No song. Feel free to comment. Your comments are highly appreciated.
Your interpretation is alright, but how do you explain the introduction to the refrain - "I'm like Houston, I think we got a problem"?
